Acute Care Dietitian Position at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is a leading Dietitian Consulting firm known for providing exceptional services to healthcare facilities nationwide. We're excited to offer an opportunity for a committed Acute Care Dietitian to join our team on a temporary contract for 4-6 months.
Position Highlights:
- Work Schedule: Three 10-hour shifts per week.
- Duration: 4-6 month contract.
- Compensation: $55.00 per hour, encompassing travel time to and from the facility.
- Travel Compensation: Paid at your hourly rate for travel time to and from the facility
Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in acute care settings (preferred).
- Proficiency in providing acute care nutrition interventions, including management of critical care patients.
- Experience with tube feedings in an acute care setting.
- Familiarity with electronic charting systems.
- Knowledgeable about state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations in acute care.
- Stellar oral and written communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed nutritional assessments for acute care patients.
- Provide medical nutrition therapy tailored to acute care needs, including critical care scenarios.
- Offer timely and effective nutritional counseling and education for patients and their families.
- Uphold DOH/state/federal regulations and company standards in acute care nutrition.
- Operate effectively and independently, even in high-pressure acute care environments.
