Who we are looking for

Cutting Dynamics is looking for an experienced CNC Machining Estimator/Quoting Specialist who will be responsible for quoting new and repeat business.

What you will get to do

• Quotes new CNC machining business (by interpreting customer drawings, specifications, etc., using estimation tools).
• Quotes repeat CNC machining business (by referencing historical data or other estimation tools).
• Monitors status of submitted quotes (won/lost/other), following up where appropriate.
• Collaborates with Purchasing and Account Management in support of quotes.

What you bring to the team

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

• 3-5 years’ experience quoting CNC machining, and ideally additional experience in CNC machining on the production floor, aerospace a plus in either case.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline preferred but not required (relevant experience considered).
• High attention to detail, technical focus, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interpret part definition (including GD&T), and understand our CNC machining equipment sufficiently to decide upon a suitable manufacturing plan, and build a cost/quote estimate accordingly from there.
