Who we are looking for

This is an exciting opportunity for an impactful role, one in which you will enjoy considerable autonomy and variety. The Marketing Manager is an integral part of the team responsible for working with the sales team and leads in developing and supporting a marketing plan for Optimation. As Marketing Manager you will oversee development of procedures and objectives for marketing and selling Re:Build Optimation's products and services and you will over see marketing, advertising, and promotional activities. Responsible for Marketing Communications, Public Relations and Customer Relationship Management as described below. Provides marketing expertise to Rochester-based executive management team. Establishes marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Provides support for generating and nurturing leads. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Creates, implements and oversees marketing communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its services.
• Coordinates marketing communications activities that may include website content, social media, advertising, direct or e-mailing, printing, web and print collateral and trade shows.
• Provides marketing training to employees at monthly lunch and learn sessions.
• Facilitates proposal review in a timely fashion and performs data entry for client and sales management activities.
• Produces website content, advertising, marketing brochures, sales kits or other promotional materials. Assists engineers or tradesmen in writing articles, case studies and project profiles.
• Works with third-party companies to create a variety of marketing collateral, such as videos and internet presence.
• Provides a positive organizational image to the general public, clients, employees, and the community.
• Develops strategic relationships with media contacts to make targeted pitches for company stories. Coordinates media contacts and media relations for the organization.
• Helps to determine the most appropriate medium to advertise services at the best cost.
• Assists management team with reputation management, develops online audits and analyzes data and web analytics
• Develops and implements strategic processes to help manage client and contact relationships. Supports development of sales account management strategies.
• Utilizes customer survey customer satisfaction metrics.
• Develops processes to keep company and contact information up to date, and to clean up duplicate and stale client information.

What you bring to the Team

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of marketing experience
• Come from a variety of academic backgrounds, including marketing, communication, business and other fields
• Some travel may be required with overnight stays
• Rochester, NY Location
