Who we are looking for:
Re:Car is looking for a dynamic, organized, experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for completing several corporate Accounting activities for our company.
What you get to do:
Work closely with stakeholders to complete the Accounting activities for our company on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
- Assist in the monthly close process
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Support the annual audit process
- Prepare work instructions for recurring accounting activities and use them
- Work with the Financial Planning & Analysis organization on budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure your work is done leveraging strong internal controls and segregation of duties
- Help implement the systems required systems to be a public company
- Continuously improve the accuracy and speed of your work
What you bring to the team:
- Experience in completing the accounting activities for a manufacturing company
- Experience in preparing financial statements and reports
- Ability to implement new accounting procedures
- Thoughtful communicator with aligned motives for joining our company
- Strong judgement and analytical skills
- Ability to juggle multiple assignments at the same time
- Strong ethics and integrity
- 3 years plus relevant experience
- B.A. in Accounting current CPA license preferred
