We are a small, unique business established in the Boise, Idaho area, with operations throughout the United States. We have completely turned the Containment Liner Removal industry upside down with our patented system, resulting in several million square feet of recycled material annually. We’re making a difference in our environment, and we do so while saving time and money over traditional removal methods. And we do this with a small, dedicated team that travels across the US as necessary. We have outsourced our accounting functions in the past and we’re ready to pull this critical area in-house. JOB SUMMARY – Accounting & Compliance Clerk
We are seeking a trustworthy person who works efficiently and swiftly, without sacrificing accuracy. You love all things numbers and balance, capable of handling multiple tasks with deadlines, and can be emphatically entrusted to always do the right thing. To ensure success, you should have a firm grasp of accounting practices and regulations, be prompt, honest, detail-oriented, professional, and analytical. You will have excellent communication skills and tackle the business with passion and skill. And if you don’t know, you are resourceful to figure it out; not afraid to ask.
ON ANY GIVEN DAY, YOU COULD BE DOING THESE THINGS
- Standard bookkeeping activities; AP, AR, prepare journal entries, reconcile
- Conduct collection retrieval as necessary. · Successfully manage the monthly end close process and create periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc
- Performing audits and resolve discrepancies
- Compute taxes and completing tax filings
- Compile, analyze, and report financial data to executive team
- Complying with all company, local, state and federal accounting and financial regulations
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts
- Maintain accounting internal controls
- Successfully manage new customer credit limits
- Support safety and vehicle certification and compliance
- Provide support to the related entities of Re-Gen
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
WHAT WE EXEPCT FROM YOU
Knowledge & Qualifications
- 3 years of accounting experience
- 1 year of state tax and workman’s comp experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Experience with financial reporting requirements and Quickbooks
- Knowledgeable on payroll and PayChex
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
- Knowledge of DOT and OSHA compliance a plus
- Experience identifying gaps and improving processes and programs
- Experience prioritizing needs and coming to the table with solutions
- Strong report-writing skills desired
- Able to model and strictly follow directions or procedures as required Extreme proficiency in MS Office tools, Excel, QuickBooks, PayChex

THIS FULL TIME POSITION INCLUDES A base salary, paid time off, cell phone and laptop, and business travel reimbursement. No health care insurance coverage - yet.
