We are looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide support to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care and assistance to individuals in their daily activities, helping them develop life skills, and advocating for their rights. The ideal candidate should have a compassionate and patient attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities:

Weekend shift: Saturday & Sunday 9am-9pm

  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior.
  • Help individuals develop skills for independent living.
  • Implement behavior management plans.
  • Assist with medical appointments and treatments.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff members, families, and outside agencies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
