The Director of First Impressions is one of the first people patients will interact with in person or on the telephone. This person should be a friendly individual who genuinely enjoys being around people and who can manage multiple tasks at once. The Director of First Impressions is responsible to ensure all patients are greeted upon arrival and are scheduled for all appointments. This position is best suited for someone with excellent organizing skills, an outgoing cheerful disposition and the ability to work in a fast pace environment.
Education/Experience:
o High school diploma or GED required
o Customer service experience in a fast pace environment
o Experience or background in clerical, reception or front office work
o Familiarity with orthodontic/ dental office procedures is preferred
Skill/Abilities:
Interpersonal:
o Good interpersonal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, parents, doctor, other staff members and community. Excellent communication (both written and oral), problem-solving and organizational skills
o Ability to adapt quickly and professionally
Technical Skills:
o Use of computer, Excel, Microsoft Office and software unique to the company
o Dolphin Management experience preferred
o Ability to manage 5-6 phone lines
o Quick learner, eager to explore new technology, processes and procedures
Responsibilities:
o Appropriately schedule orthodontic appointments
o Maintain all recall for statuses assigned to Scheduling Coordinator
o Fax, scan referrals and x-rays to doctor offices
o Maintains lobby and appearance of office
o Builds and maintains rapport with patients and their families
o Supports corporate vision and strategy, attends community events as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
