What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Soccer Coach position at Real Boston FC?
Real Boston FC is a grassroots youth soccer club focused on player development and providing the best environment for our players to learn and build a passion for the sport. The coach should have some previous experience working with children.
Our training locations are based in the greater Boston area. We have training locations in Weston, Sudbury, Framingham and Marlborough.
Team practices take place on weekday afternoons, beginning as early as 4PM and ending as late as 8PM. Exact schedule is dependent on team. Additional team practices and games are held on weekends. We play all year round with outdoor seasons in fall and spring,. In the winter we continue to hold weekly trainings and also offer a winter futsal program from November - March. Our club offers many clinics and developmental programs to our local community. In addition to coaching a team, coaches are expected to be able to work these, as well.
Ideal candidates will have previous experience coaching soccer at a club or competitive travel-team level. Coaches should have very strong communication skills and demonstrate the ability to deliver quality sessions in alignment with our developmental curriculum. Coaches should be punctual, reliable, personable and receptive to feedback. Coaches should also be a strong role model on and off the field when representing the club as a whole.
RBFC is a big believer in not only player development, but also coaching education and development. Our staff works together to improve as a group. We believe in offering the best coaching to our players and understand that coaching is a process. Our coaches work together to help each other develop. All candidates must have a passion for working with children and provide a safe and engaging environment for our players to learn.

- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Demonstrated experience working with applicable age(s) as set out above
- Have background knowledge of the sport
- Able to utilize identified online resources and coaching tools to develop training sessions
