POSITION SUMMARY:
Real Estate Management Specialists, Inc is looking for a Site Supervisor to oversee the operations of a 40 unit section 8 property for elderly/disabled. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for day to day operations of the property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a positive attitude/environment
Supervise maintenance/housekeeping duties and responsibilities.
Make decisions about the needs of the property
working with the elderly/disabled populations to provide the best guidance with their housing needs in compliance with the government programs.
Manage compliance for both programs.
Qualify applicants according to the programs guidelines
Ensure all safety, quality, and Compliance standards are met. Oversee's and reviews all compliance paperwork to maintain tenant files per HUD guidelines.
Works with Compliance for Tax Credit files.
Communicate effectively with all tenants, applicants, coworkers and supervisors in a way that promotes teamwork, good communication, and a good work environment.
Completes unit inspections and holds tenants in compliance with their lease and the properties rules and regulations.
Collects rents.
Oversees and executes preventative maintenance plan for the property.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
2 years of experience with Property management or supervising employees.
knowledge of Section 8 or LIHTC programs preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20,000.00 per year
