REPORTS TO: Assistant Director of Finance
HOURS: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
JOB TYPE: DIRECT HIRE - FULL-TIME JOB (this is NOT a contract/temp to perm job)

Job Summary:
Join our finance team as an Accounts Payable Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in managing our proprietary system, RFMS, to complete accounting tasks accurately. Your duties include ensuring data accuracy, meeting system requirements, and gathering information for certified payrolls on projects as needed. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to maintain precise financial records and handle diverse accounting responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Compile and Maintain the required compliance documentation for all subcontractors both in internal software and schedules.
- Collect, compile, record, and audit data for certified payroll, with multiple online programs, as well as hard copy submissions.
- This position plays a crucial role and requires a strong attention to detail including wage scales, prevailing wage, Davis Bacon Act.
- Compile and process weekly subcontractor payroll.
- Tie out coinciding GL’s monthly.
- Reconcile subcontractor's payroll register.
- Apply and renew state licenses as necessary.
- Fill in and accept overflow assignments to assist other members of the finance team with workflow requirements.
- Complete tasks as assigned by the Assistant Director of Finance and Director of Finance.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Certified payroll,
- LCP Tracker and Elations plus
- Computer proficiency - data entry, ability to correspond effectively via email, perform data input, etc.
- Experience with Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Office365
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and organized
- Professional, customer-focused approach
- Proactive problem solver – takes initiative to identify, research and resolve problems as they arise; willing to help others when needed to solve issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player and proven independent contributor
