What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drop Bury Technician position at Real Pro?
Drop Bury Technicians tow a trailer with Drop bury equipment, supplies, and machine to job sites. Upon arriving attempt to make customer contact and ensure locates are proper for the safe burial of cable. Road, Sidewalk, and Driveway bores may be required. Position is for 5-6 days a week depending on work load with technicians averaging between $1100 and $1800 a week. Experienced technicians/ crews are making over $2000 a week. Vehicle capable of towing 5000lbs required. Must have a valid Driver's license and pass background check.
*Incentivized rates for technicians with their own drop bury machine.
Duties/ Reponsibilities:
- Tow a trailer, back a trailer up when necessary.
- Bury wire 10-12 inches in the ground with the machine or by shovel.
- Possess a truck or SUV capable of towing 5000lbs.
- Hand digs may be necessary for drops up to 20 feet.
- Organization and Time Management
- Quality Control is a must.
- Pride in one's work.
