PROPERTY MANAGER
The Property Manager at Real Property Management Apex (RPM Apex) is responsible for providing owners outstanding customer relations and property management services. RPM Apex relies on our Property Manager to demonstrate leadership and create trust with current and prospective owners and tenants, as well as with vendors and RPM Apex teammates. The Property Manager instills confidence in our services by taking appropriate care of the properties we manage and the people we serve.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF PROPERTY MANAGER
- Participate in hands-on management of all aspects of property portfolio.
- Participate in all aspects of managing Tenant Applications and Lease Agreements.
- Prepare vacant properties and marketing for leasing.
- Maintain contact/correspondence with current owners, tenants, vendors, and teammates.
- Organize repairs and maintenance for property portfolio.
- Recognize and prepare rental arrears tracking.
- Execute appropriate communication and procedures with tenants in arrears.
- Prepare and present applicants/applications to approval committee.
- Authorize payment of owner invoices.
- Manage owner insurance claims and ensure payments.
- Audit monthly and yearly rental statements.
- Perform rent reviews.
- Conduct semi-annual, pre-vacating, move-in/move-out, and random property evaluations.
- Attend and participate in office meetings.
- Attend and participate in training sessions as directed.
- Adhere to all required procedures.
- Provide feedback for and participate in procedure and process improvement.
- Other duties, as assigned.

The Property Manager exhibits professionalism and is well organized with strong time management and prioritization skills. He/she is naturally driven to provide excellent customer service, to instill trust, and to calmly and firmly hold all parties accountable to signed agreements. The Property Manager is a thorough communicator with good negotiation skills who shows the ability to work independently within a fast-moving environment of shifting priorities.
REQUIREMENTS OF PROPERTY MANAGER
- Basic accounting/bookkeeping exposure
- Familiarity with local area
- Basic building maintenance knowledge
- Computer software exposure, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Basic literacy in housing legislation/rules/guidelines/programs including but not limited to: Federal Fair Housing Act, Texas Property Code, Section 8, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Self-determined schedule
- Weekend availability
