Job Title : Purchasing Specialist
Duration : 6 Months- 30-40 hours a week

Required Skills:
· MUST be proficient in Coupa
· Familiar with Office 365, including Sharepoint
· Able to create, organize, and update Excel spreadsheets
· Detail-oriented, especially in regard to budgeting
Description:
· We are looking for a department purchasing specialist to fill in during an employee's maternity leave.
· This person will create between 4 to 20 purchase orders per week in the Coupa system and maintain them (enter goods receipts, increase POs, check to see if invoices have come through, find and correct discrepancies between the receipt and invoice of the goods, and close out POs).
· Maintaining these POs will be of utmost importance during the end of the fiscal year in May/June.
· There is a wide range of goods and services ordered in this role. Examples include consumer research (ranging from $1k - $200k), laboratory services (i.e. equipment maintenance, laundry services, software development, etc.), laboratory supplies (i.e. chemicals, glassware, etc.), and office supplies.
· Some POs are needed almost immediately so a familiarity with Coupa and an ability to effectively prioritize tasks is essential.
