We are seeking a Bookkeeper to become an integral part of our fast-paced, hospitality and entertainment family. This role will help manage financial transactions, keep our accounting records accurate, and assist in various capacities of financial operations and reporting. You will assist with journal entries, financial reporting, bank covenant compliance, bank draws, and the A/P and A/R functions. Prior experience in hospitality and entertainment is preferred but is preferred, but not required. This position will report to the Senior Bookkeeper.
The position requires a physical presence in our office in Salt Lake City. It is NOT a work from home position. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Requirements
Specific tasks:
- Assist with monthly reconciliation of bank, credit card, cash, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Data entry of expense and capital transactions using electronic feeds, download and import, or direct from hard copy source documentation.
- Monthly transaction analysis to ensure proper coding.
- Assist with payroll data entry.
- Prepare and communicate event reports.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems for accounting, tax, and HR related data.
- Assist with AR, AP and daily and weekly financial processes.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
- Interpersonal acumen including ability to build and maintain multiple, positive relationships.
- Computer/internet literate with strong writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and complete work accurately and on time.
- Strong attention to detail.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
