ABOUT THE TEAM:
RealPage is looking for a dynamic, transformational General Manager to lead the $100M Multi-Family Utility Management, reporting to the SVP of Business Services.

This key role will partner across every function in the company to ensure successful execution of the company’s business strategy for the Business Unit which consists of the SaaS products with corresponding services for RealPage Multi-Family customers. The successful candidate will own the strategy development as well as revenue and growth targets for the business in close collaboration across a matrixed environment, deliver new products and services, and drive transformation and operational excellence to deliver on RealPage’s customers’ needs. This is an exciting opportunity to be a thought leader for the organization and to play a fundamental role in their growth and transformation initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Set the growth vision, product strategy and business plan for the business unit
  • Define strategic road map to grow the business over the next 3-4 years
  • Own the multi-year year financial outlook, annual plan, bookings targets and monthly forecasting for the business
  • Collaborate and drive strong business plan execution across the matrixed RealPage organization
  • Develop and grow executive relationships with key customers
  • Be the thought leader in the industry, drive big deals and ensure successful customer outcomes
  • Partner with other business unit leaders and the executive team to drive broader RealPage value proposition
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally frequently
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or a related field
  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • 15 years or more of progressive Product Management, Marketing, and General Management leadership experience, with a mindset of driving operational excellence cross functionally
  • Proven track record of success in building strategic plans and developing teams to support execution in large commercial organizations
  • Private and public company experience preferred in companies with track record of high growth and successful business transformation experience
  • Multi-Family experience with Utility Management including sustainability, a plus
  • Drive for Excellence - proven capability to influence and drive cross-functional teams to successful execution of plans; ensures accountability, motivates people, and maximizes impact/results
  • Shape the Future - can build vision, develop strategic plans, set direction and accelerate change needed to impact results
  • Communication - excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; strong verbal and written communication as well as conflict management skills
  • Exceptional skills presenting at executive and industry analyst briefings, sales kickoffs, and customer meetings
  • Project Management - strong organization, project lifecycle and planning skills
  • Adept at translating market research and analysis into action plans
  • Industry/Business Acumen - demonstrated analytical thinking and cognitive abilities with technical and clinical acumen to identify opportunities and solve market/customer challenges
  • Functional Knowledge - understanding and proficiency in developing Product & Technology Roadmaps, Marketing Plans, Strategic Plans, Business Case Development
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally

  • Coaching and Developing Others- Engaging an individual in developing and committing to an action plan that targets specific behaviors, skills, or knowledge needed to ensure performance improvement or prepare for success in new responsibilities.
