Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor will also lead continuous improvements and risk management, assuring that production activities comply with the requirements of ISO Quality Systems. The position will be also responsible for the following: • Proactively identify and resolve or escalate potential bottlenecks within production while ensuring quality, meeting customer specifications and timely delivery of materials from suppliers as well as delivery of quality product(s) to customers. • Maintains work flow by monitoring every step of the production process while setting assembler’s tasks, aligning production resources, implementing cost reduction activities, and resolving non-conformances. • Provide coaching and develop assemblers, observe work duties, monitor performance, and conduct training in operations, procedures, policies, and continuous improvements. • Analyze production work orders, verifies availability of inventory, delivery dates of components and product compliance while resolving or escalating material shortage issues per forecast, • Work closely with Customer Service to understand the needs of customers, including product specifications, schedule, and shipping requirements as well as RMA requests. • Directly plans and monitors the daily performance of assigned special and routine tasks and duties of all production operators while fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. • Maintains, records and keep proper assembly documentations and logs throughout the manufacturing operations for product traceability and quality control. Qualification Requirement • Associate degree in Engineering or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. • 7-10 years of optomechanical, electromechanical, electronics systems assembly or related manufacturing experience required • Demonstrated experience in lean manufacturing preferred. • Perform physical activity that requires the use of hand truck to move goods and ability to lift 50lbs. • May assist in performing various job duties of manufacturing employees. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
