The engineering team is focused on building products that apply artificial intelligence to analyze, secure, and deliver critical data to deter threats and drive mission success for our defense and national security customers.

How you’ll make a difference in this role:

We are looking to add an Operations Manager to our Product Engineering Operations team. As an Engineering Operations Manager, you will work closely with engineering teams to accelerate successful product development and delivery of systems at scale and at the edge. You will collaborate closely with ML engineers working on models, data scientists working on research, and software engineers, as well as engage with stakeholders across the organization — UX designers, program managers, and product leads.

This position is based out of our Washington D.C. office.

This role reports to the Product Engineering Operations Lead.

What your mission is:

  • Work with Product and Engineering leads to ensure all project dependencies are clearly communicated and tracked across the organization
  • Collaborate with project leads and stakeholders to ensure the team is delivering against program expectations and a product roadmap
  • Promote team cohesion, effective team processes, and the alignment of engineering team growth with strategic objectives
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful program execution
  • Communicate program status with internal stakeholders
  • Align PE deliverables to strategic goals while ensuring we are able to maintain delivery to existing customers
  • Support the standardization of execution process across the PE organization

You may be fit for this role if your expertise aligns to:

  • Experience designing, implementing, and deploying new processes to improve delivery cadence and quality
  • Been an active part of coordinating execution and managing expectations across a diverse team with many internal and external dependencies
  • Successfully worked with engineering teams in defining, planning, and executing against a product roadmap
  • Possess a strong bias towards action, are self-directed, detail-oriented, and enjoy figuring out the most important problem to work on
  • Deep understanding of portfolio and capacity planning
  • Experience applying and coaching a variety of Agile methodologies

The Nature of our Work:

We are driving fast change to an extremely regulated industry. Many of the national security programs that are supported by Rebellion’s products operate in secure environments and access to those spaces and the data in them may require an active personnel security clearance. It is a requirement of this position that you are able to obtain and hold a personnel security clearance at the right level.
