You will help influence the company's technical direction based on mastery of Agile Frameworks Leadership.The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to effectively manage one or more development teams, and regulate workflow for multiple software engineers.What you'll doDrive software deliveryUsing agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practicesWork with Product Management team (and product owners) to prioritize the team's backlogSupport the product owner and provide education where neededDrive balance of prioritization of tech debt vs. new/enhanced functionality for the team's assigned project areasProactively identify & track risks the team encounters, and drive risk mitigation effortsIdentify areas of improvement throughout the software developer lifecycleAssist in bug prioritization and escalation managementDrive & manage key project initiatives as requiredCoordinate sprints, retrospective & refinement meetings and daily stand-upsFacilitate internal communication and effective collaborationManage the team's project scope & timelinesBe the point of contact for the teamManage expectations on deliveryTrack and report on output of the team (total points per team & per person)Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvementsPlanning and organizing demos and product/system testingPreparing and presenting status reports to stakeholdersDrive quality deliverables from the teamBecome SME in assigned project areasRequirements BS degree or equivalent work experienceScrum certification3 years of relevant work experience in IT project management, software development leadershipStrong understanding of performant SaaS environmentDemonstrated excellence in listening and communicationTime-management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external teamsSelf-motivated, driven, and willing to take ownership and responsibilityAbility to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflictAbility to adapt to a changing environmentNice to haves: ECommerce experienceRemote work experienceStartup experienceSaaS experienceAtlassian/Jira experienceSoftware Engineering experienceExperience with successful Agile techniquesBenefitsRebuy is a fully remote company and we provide our employees with everything they need to succeed both professionally and personally.
