Bilingual Job Coach

Our company is dedicated to empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds to achieve their career goals. We are currently seeking a passionate Bilingual Job Coach to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive vocational skills training and resources to our participants, assisting them in job skills development and job placement. Your expertise in resume writing, job search and interviewing techniques, soft skills development, and job placement and retention will be integral to our mission. Responsibilities

• Conduct assessment/intake process to confirm eligibility, identify participants' strengths and areas of need, and connect participants to local, state, and federal resources.
• Provide training in soft skills, team building, workplace etiquette, communication skills, conflict resolution, and time management.
• Establish and maintain contact with public and private employers, conduct periodic reviews of participant progress, and assist with resume updates as needed.
• Conduct presentations, classes, and other instructions aimed at employment readiness and job placement.
• Occasionally provide transportation for selected participants to/from interviews, job fairs, and similar events.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of job development, supportive services, and vocational training.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with community programs, residents, and employers involved in the workforce network.
• AAS Degree (in Human Services preferred), High School Diploma/GED; or a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in counseling and strong organizational and planning skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is highly desirable, and computer proficiency is required.
• Understanding of principles and practices of partnering with local businesses, and local Social Services Systems.

Work Environment

The work conditions may include exposure to inclement weather and noise. The position may require exposure to electronic equipment including computers, printers, fax, and copy machines, and cleaning equipment. This job requires consistent punctuality and attendance at the job site.
