Reckitt is currently searching for a qualified and reliable Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance department. As the maintenance manager, you will be responsible for managing all repair and preventive maintenance operations of the St Peter's MO sites facilities, processing, and packaging areas.
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Manager oversees the day-to-day maintenance and repair operations of the Plant facilities, equipment, and machinery through planning, coordinating, and directing all maintenance activities to ensure machine reliability and minimize unexpected downtime.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to salaried maintenance supervisory staff and hourly team
* Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free.
* Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
* Evaluating machines and resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
* Ensuring that spare parts, components, and tools needed for maintenance are always available by working with maintenance planners to ensure materials are ordered and spares inventories are in place.
* Manage R&M expenses to ensure budget is maintained while maintaining and improving equipment reliability.
* Develop, implement, monitor, and optimize the organization's maintenance management plan in accordance with its goals to improve uptime and minimize costs.
* Drive Maintenance KPIs including Breakdown rate as measured in OEE/cases, MTBF, MTTR, Preventive Maintenance time vs Reactive Maintenance time, PM completion rate, WO backlog, etc...
* Hire, train, and evaluate maintenance workers; monitor workers to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements. Responsible to ensuring Maintenance team has proper training.
* Manage limited resources to achieve goals. Develop corrective action plans for maintenance or manufacturing problems that may arise. Collaborate with Reliability Engineers and lead Root Cause Analysis for major breakdowns.
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Requires a high school diploma/GED; Bachelor degree preferred in a technical field
* Experience in industrial manufacturing and processing technology is required.
* At least 7 years working experience in an industrial plant is required. Experience in Maintenance, Reliability, and/or Engineering preferred.
* At least 3 years previous managerial experience and development of a maintenance team is required.
* Experience in Consumer Goods production desired. Experience in liquid and/or powder filling desired.
* Experience with SAP Maintenance Module desired.
* Experience with TPM / Autonomous Maintenance Programs desired.
* Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Good computer skills: including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
