Position Summary:


The Contract Manager will lead the commercial contract department responsible for contracts between Recor Medical and our customers, including hospitals, health systems, and group purchasing organizations. This role will provide contract and pricing analytics and support cross functionally including sales, legal, finance, and operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Develop and lead the company’s US commercial contracting team.
  • Implement appropriate processes to support alignment to companies’ policies and guidelines.
  • Manage contract workflow and collaboration with senior leaders to ensure efficient contract execution and suggest and implement new/more efficient processes as needed.
  • Draft and negotiate Sales Agreements, Service Level Agreements, NDAs, BAAs, and other contract related agreements.
  • Contract administration including amendments, renewals, notices as required.
  • Redlining of agreements within company guidance.
  • Appropriate tracking of contracts in CLM and CRM tools.
  • Support Sales in negotiating pricing and contracts to meet company objectives.
  • Support Sales to drive pricing strategies and escalate exceptions when necessary.
  • Execute and monitor negotiated contracts from implementation to expiration.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to gain alignment and drive decision making.
  • Define and prioritize risks and be able to communicate those risks to appropriate stakeholders for discussion and resolution.
  •  Manage internal stakeholders including contracts process training, guidance to stakeholders regarding contractual rights and obligations, serve as point of contact for contract related questions.
  •  Create and manage service level contracts for equipment.
  •  Create contracting playbook for Commercial contracts, amendments, pricing changes, etc.
  •  Work with customer service on accurate account set up for newly executed contracts.
  •  Manage GPO/IDN rosters quarterly, updating CRM, CLM and ERP as necessary.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree with a concentration in Business, English, Finance, or related field is preferred.
  •  A minimum of 7 years' experience in medical device contracting or legal is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to success in fast-paced sales, customer focused environment.
  •  Prior experience working with customer and field sales facing teams.
  •  Strong knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), QAD, Collaborate CLM and Salesforce required.
  •  Strong knowledge of US customer base and health system relationships.
  •  Strong communication skills.
  •  HighQ experience preferred.

(Commensurate with experience, skills, education, training and geographic location)
