ROI Audit Specialist - Remote Processor

Job Summary

In this position, you will play a vital role in helping process and invoice audits for our clients. As an Audit Specialist, you will work across various departmental teams, including Production, Finance, and Customer Service, ensuring client audits are accurate, processed promptly, and tracked. The Audit Specialist contributes substantially to client satisfaction and the overall service RecordQuest offers.

Responsibilities

• Securely access facility/client EHR systems
• Learn various client EHR systems and technological infrastructures
• Understand various patient record requests and understand the various entities requesting patient records
• Identify inaccuracies and/or omissions in patient record requests
• Understand and navigate RecordQuest proprietary software
• Meet daily and weekly productivity goals
• Work with IT Support Specialist and/or IT Business Unit to troubleshoot technological hardware or software issues
• Receive messages and support internal staff members regarding audits
• Check for duplicate audits
• Input audit information into internal documentation for historical and record-keeping purposes
• Separate audits

Requirements

• Experience reading, understanding, and responding to requests for medical records
• A solid understanding of HIPAA regulations
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills
• Attention to detail and goal-oriented
• Excellent reading comprehension and critical thinking skills
• Dedication to productivity and a professional attitude
• The previous release of information, medical records, or related experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
