We are looking for a Clinical Director to join our team! This position will lead the team at Recovery at the Crossroads, LLC, an outpatient substance use disorder treatment program in Turnersville, NJ. This is an in-office position located in Turnersville, NJ. The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing and developing the program, to include hiring, supervision, evaluation, and scheduling, while developing and implementing strategies for program growth. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing and maintaining written objectives, policies and procedures, an organizational plan and a quality assurance program for substance abuse counseling services.
Ensuring that behavioral approaches to treatment are evidence based on based on objective information to provide treatment services consistent with recognized treatment principles and practices for each level of care and type of client served by the program.
Providing or ensuring and documenting that direct clinical supervision is provided at least one hour per week o all clinical staff, individually or in a group setting, with group supervision not to exceed 50% of supervision time.
Ensuring that substance abuse counseling services are provided as specified in the client treatment plan, and coordinated with other client care services (if applicable) in order to provide continuity of care.
Assisting and participating in staff education activities, assisting in developing job descriptions, and providing orientation to and evaluation of new counseling staff.
Attends leadership meetings, Joint Commission Compliance meetings and performs other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum requirements and qualifications:
A New Jersey licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor (LCADC) who is a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) who also holds a master's degree recognized by the NJ Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners, Alcohol and Drug Counselor Committee, Division of Consumer Affairs, NJ Department of Law and Public Safety as meeting the educational requirements set forth in NJAC 13:34C-2.2(b)1, OR
A New Jersey licensed professional Counselor (LPC) who also holds a master's degree recognized by the NJ Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners, Alcohol and Drug Counselor Committee, Division of Consumer Affairs, NJ Department of Law and Public Safety as meeting the educational requirements set forth in NJAC 13:34C-2.2(b)1, OR
A New Jersey licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who is a Certified Clinical Supervisor or who is an LCADC, OR
A New Jersey licensed psychologist who possesses a Certification of Proficiency in the Treatment of Alcohol and other Psychoactive Substance Use Disorders from the American Psychological Association, College of Professional Psychology, or is an LCADC, OR
A New Jersey licensed advanced practice nurse (APN) who is a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) or is an LCADC, OR
A New Jersey licensed physician certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine, or a Board-certified psychiatrist.
CCS Certification (Certified Clinical Supervisor) preferred.
Knowledge of EMR system required, along with proficiency in computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, databases, etc.)
Reliable and consistent with attendance, and be available to work flexible hours.
Attitude of friendliness, ability to communicate with and maintain good working relationships with all referral sources, staff, and volunteers.
