Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

Recovery Defined is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with substance abuse, mental health or medically assisted treatment experienced for a full-time position in our Dayton, Ohio office location with minor travel to additional office locations. This individual will provide assistance to the physicians working with substance abuse and/or psychiatric clients. The incumbent will complete required intake documentation and monitor client progression towards therapeutic goals including providing injections and pharmacy coordination. Additionally, the incumbent will also help the patient meet therapeutic goals by providing case management coordination services.

This is the ideal position for a RN who has a desire to join a growing treatment program focused on patient and team care.

This position's hours are:

• Full-time: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (start time may vary)

Recovery Defined’s Nurse position requires an active Ohio nursing license.

At Recovery Defined the Registered Nurse responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides direct and individualized nursing care to assigned group or patients based on proven principles, under the supervision of a registered nurse, doctor or medical director.
• Responds to the needs of the patients including addresses symptoms commonly associated with substance abuse or mental health needs, implements proper protocols, communicates with physicians regarding patient’s status and needs, and facilitates therapeutic groups.
• Prepares, administers and records medications in accordance with the policies regarding the administration of medications by a licensed practical nurse.
• Lead health and case management coordination efforts.
