Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor at our Warrensburg, MO location. As a counselor, you will be responsible for providing counseling and support to individuals struggling with addiction. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, implementing relapse prevention strategies, providing case management services, and applying psychological principles in the delivery of care.


Qualifications

  • Treatment Planning, Chemical Dependency, and Relapse Prevention skills
  • Case Management and Psychology knowledge
  • Experience in providing counseling services to individuals with substance use disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in addiction treatment
  • Certification or licensure as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor (preferred)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (preferred)

Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
