Corporate HR Manager - Healthcare - NY

Recruit Secure is collaborating with our client in seeking an experienced Corporate HR Manager for direct hire. Our client owns and operates several for-profit, long -term care facilities i.e., Skilled Nursing Homes in Texas. The Human Resources Corporate Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting 6 Human Resources departments located within the Nursing Homes. This includes overseeing recruitment and onboarding of staff, I-9 documentation, supporting employee programs and labor relations, and assuring that each facility is meeting healthcare regulatory compliance and following company policies. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR policies and best practices, experience working in long-term care or a Skilled Nursing home, and should possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. This position reports directly to the Executive Director. This position is located on-site in Monsey, NY. Salary and a full benefits package are offered as well as other perks.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all state, federal and local Department of Health standards and policies
• Be aware and advise on all labor relationship activities, i.e., risk assessments, internal and external complaint investigations, sexual harassment, EEOC, unfair treatment, immigration issues, etc.
• Provide counseling, mentoring, and training to Managers and HR staff
• Keep abreast of all federal, state, and local regulations that affect Employment, Hiring policies
• Act as strategic partner to Senior Management on employment best practices policies that affect employee performance.
• Assist and advise on relationships with service providers, staffing, and contingency providers.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in HR and at least 2 years in a Senior Supervisory role
• Experience supporting an HR department in a Skilled Nursing Home or other long-term care facilities.
• Experience supporting staff remotely
• Understanding regulations governing healthcare facilities
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• SHRM certifications are a plus.
