Our Client
Our client is an AI platform for accounting firms, providing accountants with a team of AI assistants. Accounting teams integrate our client as part of their team, delegating core workflows and automating time-consuming, manual work.
We recently closed a multi-fold oversubscribed - and yet unannounced - seed round backed by top VCs. Our client is already in use at several leading, large accounting firms in the US.
Location: NYC, Flatiron office. In-person team.
Your role
- Build
- Engineer software systems around sophisticated ML models
- Advance data architecture for accounting-related objects/concepts
- Take ownership
- Report directly to co-founders
- Oversee significant parts of our tech and product
- Lead technical decision making on accounting specific features and abstractions, as well as integrations with existing accounting tools
- Set culture and practice
- Shape our early engineering culture and processes
- Serve as source of subject matter expertise for rest of engineering team
- Evolve our approach on frontend infrastructure, web server design, abstractions, etc.
- Wear multiple hats
- Help hire and build out the rest of the early engineering team - there will be no shortage of responsibility
- Balance long-term thinking and smart abstractions with shipping fast and iteratively
Salary Range: $150,000-$200,000 base.
