The qualified individuals will be responsible for set-up and preparation of materials to run the process of operation on lathes, drills, and mills. Family Oriented Environment and Great Work Hours
Responsibilities:
· Conduct set ups of machined parts on Doosan Fanuc control CNC machines.
· This includes boring jaws to fit raw stock or previous parts.
· Changing over collets for bar stock.
· Create, edit and or retrieve re-peat part programs.
· Finding correct tools for the job which includes type of inserts, boring bars, and drills.
· Able to offset and change over tools
· Use manufacturing paperwork including shop travelers, inspection reports, blueprints, and drawings.
· This included inspecting and verifying work prior to submission to FA inspection.
· Perform non CNC related tasks, when necessary, which include hand work operation, saw cutting operation, and deburring operation.
Qualifications:
· Two (2) plus years of CNC Setup and working in a machine shop setting.
· Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents that commensurate with the CNC operation and setup.
· A belief in continual improvement to create a more efficient processes and environment.
· Ability to organize materials and prepare setup for operation.
· Time skill management is a must.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to multitask making Three to Five (3-5) setups per day.
· Ability to use optical comparator, micrometers, calipers, dial bore gages, sunnen gages and various other inspection devices.
· Strong attention to detail.
· High School Diploma or GED.
