Logistics Specialist

Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Logistics Specialist for an international automotive manufacturer in Duncan, South Carolina! This full-time position requires an individual who possesses significant experience in operating forklifts, along with expertise in shipping and warehouse management. The ideal candidate should also have a working knowledge of SAP and basic computer skills. This is a temporary position with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role, offering a competitive hourly rate of $18.63.

Responsibilities:

- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to handle material movement within the warehouse.

- Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of inbound and outbound goods.

- Inspect and maintain the forklift and other warehouse equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.

- Collaborate with the warehouse team to organize and maintain inventory accuracy.

- Execute shipping processes, including packaging, labeling, and verifying product quality before dispatch.

- Utilize SAP to manage inventory, update records, and generate shipping-related documents.

- Work with computer systems to track inventory levels, update data, and generate reports as required.

- Adhere to safety protocols and always maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Assist in general warehouse duties when not operating the forklift, as needed.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a forklift operator, with a strong track record of safety and efficiency.

- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.

- Proficiency in using SAP or similar inventory management systems.

- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays when required.

- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and order processing.

- Physical capability to lift and move heavy objects as required in the warehouse environment.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the warehouse team.

- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in meeting work schedules and deadlines.
