AL/MC Nursing Director

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department (Assisted Living as well as Memory Care) and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills, clinical expertise, and a deep understanding of Senior Living and providing Healthcare to our residents.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of patient care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and medical staff, to coordinate patient care
- Manage and oversee medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and implementing training programs as needed
- Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained at all times
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in nursing management

Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using healthcare systems and electronic medical records
- Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience working in a nursing home or assisted living facility is preferred
- Ability to effectively manage resources and prioritize tasks

Must Have:

- Must have a current California License and in good standing a Nursing License including but not limited to

- Registered Nurse

- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

- Must have Supervisory Experience at minimum 2-3 years.

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
