Position Description

Recuro Health is building the future of digital health, and a world-class platform to support it.  We are a high-growth company and the systems you help design and implement will service our enterprise clients. This role is an opportunity to make significant contributions to building our next-gen backend platform.

How you will make a difference:

• Design and develop products and features that are highly available, secure, observable, well-tested, and maintainable
• Identify and execute improvements to the existing platform architecture and integrations to better support future needs and demand
• Practice shipping code early and often and collaborate with other engineers.

What we are looking for:

• 5 years in a software engineering role with progressively significant responsibilities in a modern tech stack
• Deep experience in at least one backend language or framework, and curiosity and openness toward learning new technologies.
• Interest in complex product problems and how to create simple solutions that favor configuration, automation, and maintainability.
• In-depth understanding of distributed, event-driven, microservice, and integration architectures and understanding of system design trade-offs.

• React, Typescript
• PostgreSQL, FHIR-based EHR systems
• Auth0
• Docker, K8s
• Azure managed services

Bonus if you have:

• Worked in a HIPAA-regulated environment
• Experience working with FHIR data
• Experience at a startup and enjoy the challenge of growing quickly
