Summary
The Company is seeking a PAID Summer 2024 intern to supportengineeringefforts on the Performance EngineeringTeam with designing and performing technical due diligence forutility-scale solar PV and energy storage projects. The internship will cover the Summer term and is flexible with start/end dates. This internship will gain exposure to projects currently under development, being constructed, preparing for financial close, and actively being marketed into wholesale power markets in the US. These projects will be located across the US and allow this position to be remote. This internship is an opportunity to join an industry-leading team to help drivemanagement decision making and grow the business.
PrincipalResponsibilities/Key Results Areas
Carry out solar resource assessment of the sites under development.
Carry out optimization studies for PV and PV Storage systems and present results.
Review technology trends for battery storage systems.
Analyze Solar PV system performance from simulated and empirically collected power generation data and draw conclusions.
Works cross functionally and collaboratively with all departments
Interfaces withthird-partyengineering service providers and subcontractors.
Requirements
Knowledge & Skills
Demonstrated interest in a career inrenewable energy.
Proficiency inMS Excel.
Background in Python programming would be preferred.
Proven ability to prepare technical reports and presentations.

Experience & Education
Minimum of at least2 years of coursework working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Engineeringor any amount of coursework experience working towards a Graduate or MBA degree.
