Recycling Solutions of Raynham, LLC is a locally owned and managed solid waste and recycling facility focusing on construction waste recycling. We are looking for a skilled Accounting Assistant to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and Human Resource tasks. Accounting Assistant responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, reconciling in bound and outbound tickets, processing accounts payable and receivables, disbursements, expense vouchers, and other related tasks. A successful accounting assistant should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a flair for numbers. Ultimately, a successful Accounting Assistant will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. This position requires a high degree of collaboration between Customers, Vendors and fellow employees. The ability to build relationships across all organizational levels will be very important.

Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the Controller
• Preform accounts payable duties
• Preform accounts receivable duties
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
• Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
• Inform management and compile reports/summaries
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
• Constantly update job knowledge
• Provide assistance and support to company personnel
• On Boarding/off Boarding
• Benefit administration

Skills

• Proven accounting experience
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Human Resource and payroll processing experience a plus
• Competency in MS Office, databases and Sage accounting software
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
• Detail-oriented and accuracy
• Aptitude for numbers
• Ability to perform filing, scanning and record keeping tasks
• Data entry and word processing skills
• Well organized

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
