Job Summary
Our Test Engineering Lead will have the aptitude, ambition, attitude, and solid professional experience to lead our software test team. As a Test Engineering Lead at Red 6, you will direct the design and development of test procedures and their corresponding test environments, including the engineering of novel test apparatus. You will ensure the proper execution of verification tests and report test execution status to engineering and product leadership. You will review system requirements and track tests metrics while contributing to test processes and future testing capabilities. At Red 6, we are making new, ground-breaking technology, and with that this position comes with the willingness to adapt and overcome obstacles as they present themselves. Experience, Skills And Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM field
- 6 years of experience working in test lead capacity within the software development lifecycle (SDLC) with custom hardware in an Agile Scrum environment
- 3 years applied experience in testing within CI/CD processes
- 2 years applied experience with Linux-based software systems
- Qualified candidates must have the ability to obtain a security clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship
- Hands-on experience with software test methodologies, and tools like: Test Complete, QTP, Selenium, JIRA, Jenkins, or GitLab
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to construct fully automated test environments
- Experience in constructing test plans and procedures
- Sound judgment in deciding how/what testing should be conducted given competing deadlines and shared resources
- Deep experience in integration and regression testing
- Software development experience, such as C , C#, or Java.
- Experience working in augmented/virtual reality
- Experience working in a military solutions environment
- Experience with computer vision, 6 DoF tracking technologies, and wearable display systems
