We deliver our services to many of the biggest actors in the broadcast and media industry and we are continually looking to grow and expand our business into new markets.

OVERVIEW: The Image Production Specialist will ensure that all Red Bee Media images are edited, mapped, attributed properly, and adhere to all quality standards. The Specialist will also use Adobe Photoshop to create and edit images for use in Red Bee Media outlets. Under the supervision of the Head of Media and Media Operations Manager, they will also coordinate and complete, in a timely manner, any departmental projects and Red Bee Media initiatives for clients and internal auditing as needed. This position requires that the individual be able to quickly switch back and forth between multiple assignments at any given time.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Use Adobe Photoshop to create/edit/crop images (simple program artwork, program logos, station logos, cast/bio images, movie/program stills and other related media content) based on the current needs of Red Bee Media.

· Follow Red Bee Media Guidelines to ensure all images are edited and processed to meet quality standards.

· Map and attribute images in the Media Manager and serve as Quality Assurance to assigned members of the Media Department. This includes the following actions:

o Review all showcards to ensure they meet all quality standards and report any issues found back to the individual and the line manager.

o Map and attribute showcards created by assigned team members.

o Track and report all showcards that have been created and mapped, on the weekly Airing Counts Report.

· Manage Red Bee Media’s station logo library and delivery through regular audits, outreach to provider and client contacts, JIRA tickets, and coordination with the Production Department, Station Coordination, and Client Services.

· Complete all weekly assignments on time, including, but not limited to: cropping images, mapping images, audits, ongoing specialty projects, etc.

· Run any reports or audits, as required, or requested by the line manager.

· Provide daily logs and individual project tracking numbers to the line manager.

· To ensure any problems can be managed properly, notify line manager of:

o any programming issues that may affect your duties or responsibilities.

o any issues or setbacks regarding workflow or assignment completion.

o any issues with the Media Manager or the proprietary Reporting Software.

· Handle any projects designed to enhance Red Bee Media’s image database for specific clients’ needs.

· Follow and remain current with all departmental policies and procedures.

· Demonstrate and maintain the ability to work with daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines and goals.

· Maintain knowledge of Red Bee Media’s organization, operations, policies and procedures, and planning processes.

· Maintain a complete and up-to-date knowledge of the Red Bee Media Content Discovery Media Manager and a general knowledge of the Red Bee Media Content Discovery Metadata Management Platform (CD MMP).

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS:

· Demonstrate basic working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

· Basic image editing abilities.

· Strong understanding of basic graphic design principles.

· High attention to detail.

· Strong communication skills.

· Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, and Excel.

· Highly organized and motivated to excel.

· Works well in a team environment.

· Excellent oral and written communications abilities.

· Solid analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

· Self-motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

·Home internet speeds - General User Minimum Requirement:15 mb download / 2 mb upload General User Recommended: 25 mb download / 5 mb upload (when temporarily working from home during the pandemic)
