Soil Production Tech

The Soil Production Technician role is a great fit for adaptable applicants interested in learning more about soil health and soil science who are also excited about working for a growing company. The candidate must be motivated to learn about soil production and be able to perform all aspects of soil production in a safe and timely manner.

The Soil Production Technician reports directly to the Soil Production Manager.

The Soil Production Technician's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Accurately processing client work orders
• Accurately weighing soil amendments
• Visually identify the difference between soil amendments
• Monitor and report the status of amendments
• Repeatedly move and load 40-75 lbs
• Bag and seal products
• Stack and wrap pallets
• Maintain a clean and organized work space
• Monitor and record incoming and outgoing products
• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

Additionally, applicants must have the ability to work independently and efficiently while also communicating effectively with teammates. Applicants must also be timely and motivated to work.

Typical work hours are Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM. Some overtime may be required.

Soil Production Tech will be required to:

• Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb
• Use of hands and fingers to handle and/or feel
• Ability to reach overhead with hands and arms
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 75lbs independently
• Maintain a positive attitude and work as a team member
• Must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving trucks and equipment
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
