Company Description
In addition to standard daily order monitoring and resolution of customer logistics issues on both inbound and outbound freight, the SAP TM Operations Specialist is responsible for providing functional support for the Transportation Management System (SAP TM) application by acting as a liaison between logistics operations and IT teams. This individual will provide first line support to the team, monitor current processes models, and summarize data to explain cause and effect trends and anomalies. This individual will also recommend appropriate actions for continued improvement and perform root analysis of issues to determine the need for development within SAP TM. S/he will serve as a primary resource for inbound related SAP TM Issues.
As a Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support on a wide range of responsibilities. In addition to daily TM related tasks, you will also be responsible for managing programs and projects, budgeting, planning, and invoicing, inbound logistics operations and finding creative solutions to unique logistics challenges. You’ll work closely with and provide exceptional support to a variety of Red Bull business units, third party logistics partners, and our global logistics supply chain team in Austria.
Job Description
SAP TM SYSTEM SUPPORT
Daily interface with SAP TM to identify logistics or freight issues for assigned customer groups and process through to resolution.
Analyze data including carrier and 3PL contracts, fuel tables and transit tables, and determine a workable solution in the system.
Use spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and build templates in the management of master data for system upload into SAP TM (i.e., routing guides, rate agreements, and transit tables based on interpretation of contracts).
Evaluate configurations of SAP TM to facilitate inbound transportation planning and execution and freight audit and payment.
Recommend process enhancements to better manage time and reduce margin for error while maintaining accurate invoice reconciliation.
Partner with logistics, 3PL operations and carrier development teams to complete carrier onboarding and SAP TM setup through requirements gathering for design and testing; make recommendations based on important takeaways from past startups to prevent issues during go live.
SAP TM INBOUND OPERATING PROCEDURES AND COMPLIANCE
Assess and conduct root cause analysis of issues and errors by reviewing rule sets and configurations in SAP TM.
Provide recommendations for changes to better align with the organization’s objectives and to streamline processes.
Collaborate with Logistics, Finance and IT teams to ensure SAP TM functionality is at an optimal level; evaluate and correct process flaws, identify issues, and provide solutions for improvement by using the existing functionality in SAP TM.
Understand and analyze business requirements; collaborate with the logistics team and key stakeholders to assure proper configuration and functionality of the SAP TM system.
Troubleshoot, compile, audit, and verify information or data to determine whether events or processes comply with standards; raise concerns and provide data when issues arise that affect system functionality; document issues and identify ways to prevent recurrence.
MISCELLANEOUS OPERATIONS SUPPORT
Provide inbound logistics and order support.
Conduct ad hoc reporting & analysis.
Support annual physical inventory and audits.
Maintain documentation and procedures related to inbound logistics policies and procedures.
Prepared to assume additional tasks outside job description (as needed/directed)

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in transportation, logistics or supply chain.
Experience using Enterprise Transportation Management Systems (SAP TM).
Background in customer service and the logistics industry, such as rate entry, billing and/or transportation operations.
Experience with classic and agile project management, process mapping and process improvement.
Basic knowledge of logistics functions within SAP or a comparable ERP.
Experience with data maintenance in complex systems and working with and interpreting carrier contracts.
Bachelor’s Degree is required.
