The Red Hat Global Professional Services team is looking for a motivated expert to join us as a Consulting services Account Specialist in Brasília, Brazil. In this role, you will serve as a business expert and apply your deep consulting services background to further increase strategy development, key initiatives mapping, solutions design, and project implementation in your territory. You’ll be a key member of the Brazilian Professional Services team, focused on public sector territory, coordinating directly with business stakeholders and technology, application, and operations teams to help develop strategy and guide it to successful implementation. As a Consulting Services Account Specialist, you will develop solutions to meet business requirements and make sure that project implementation meets our standards and quality. You should also have a great sense of urgency and customer focus. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.

What you will do

• Work with business stakeholder teams to solve strategic problems and gain advantage on opportunities; establish target state, transition states, and baseline architectures by creating strategy maps composed of business, application, and technology aspects along with outcomes, interdependencies, and implementation sequences
• Provide oversight to architects, consultants, and project managers, including external consultants, on the development of specific strategies and implementation plans related to project definition
• Provide oversight and design advisory and implementation support during implementation for multiple concurrent initiatives; perform architecture and change management activities on all architectural elements, including business, application, and technology
• Create solutions with considerations around gaps and risks, including the effective engagement of critical stakeholders; evaluate options like features, benefits, functionality, return on investment (ROI), total cost of ownership (TCO), risk, time to market, and enterprise alignment context and subsequently present, educate, and guide business teams in making better investment decisions
• Determine, document, and communicate technical and business requirements
• Provide oversight on projects to ensure alignment with corporate, legal, and regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Participate in architectural reviews of solutions and provide concrete feedback and specific recommendations
• Provide project and technical leadership to multiple complex projects using standard project methodologies and resource management
• Ensure professional growth through participation in professional organizations, seminars, user groups, and industry networking
• Educate subject matter experts on the implementation of optimization for digital transformation, solutions, and business strategies related to local industry, including finance, government, telecommunications (telco), etc.
• Display pragmatism in balancing short and long-term approaches and tradeoffs, taking into account business drivers

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree; master's degree in computer science or engineering, or an MBA
• 5 years of experience working in Services (Consulting, Training, Technical Account Manager) with enterprise business architecture experience 

• Experience working as a sales engineer, IT sales architect, or in an equivalent role with enterprise accounts
• Ability to interpret customer business and technical needs and provide adapted solutions
• Expertise in designing implementation solutions to deliver expected business outcomes via 
applying business architecture changes and application and technology capabilities
• Solid skills in and experience with cloud paradigms, concepts, and technologies
• Deep knowledge of strategy development approaches with a multi­year outlook 

• Mandatory knowledge of software development life cycle practices, including agile and waterfall methodologies like scrum
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills
• Fluent language skills in English; advanced Spanish is highly desired
