Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Server, a typical day might include the following:

• Greeting guests joining us with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor
• Attending to guests and taking food and/or beverage orders
• Ensuring guests’ orders are accurate and served in a timely manner
• Anticipating guest needs and fulfilling them
• Preparing guest checks and collecting accurate payment
• Resolving any service issues that arise with empathy and according to guidelines
• Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all necessary guidelines
• Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group Restaurants and Venues in a positive and professional manner
• Maintaining a clean and well stocked work environment
• Other duties as assigned
  

Skills/Qualifications

This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years previous server experience in an upscale, fast-paced bar/restaurant
• Open availability Thursday through Sunday
• A neat and professional appearance
• Efficient and accurate communication skills
• Ability to build guest loyalty with outgoing & friendly personality
• Excellent memory and ability to multitask
• Work schedule flexibility with night, weekend and holiday availability
• A positive attitude and aptitude to handle high stress environments
• TIPS certification is a plus
