Summary
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Completes assigned checklist of janitorial duties and responsibilities to maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility
- Reports any repairs, i.e., broken or damaged equipment to Maintenance Supervisor
- Maintains cleanliness of parking lot and grounds, keeping them litter free and empties all exterior trash receptacles
- Ensures facility is safe for members to use year round including de-icing sidewalks in the winter and/or controlling yellow jackets in the summer
- Maintains proper inventory levels of janitorial supplies and places orders as needed
- Provides support to the General Manager and/or department Heads for special events
Additional Responsibilities
- Keep work area neat and organized.
- Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
- Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
- Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the Employee Handbook.

Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands
