Red Nucleus is hiring a Scientific Technical Editor to join our global team! This role can be based out of our US offices or can be full-time remote in the US.

The Scientific Technical Editor supports the scientific team with fact-checking deliverables for correct scientific interpretation of related scientific literature; constructs tables and figures; assists with literature searches; and other modes of scientific content support.
Responsibilities include:
- Verify information and data against published and client-generated sources
- Generate and check figures and tables for various projects
- Perform line by line reviews of journal proofs to ensure accuracy of publication
- Perform literature searches and develop high level summary of findings
- Work with medical writers to prepare manuscript submission files and complete submissions
- Work with medical writers on abstract submissions
- Other tasks as delegated by the scientific team
About You
- MS, PhD, or PharmD in biological science is required
- Ability to independently comprehend and analyze scientific content and edit deliverables
- Understanding and familiarity with most current AMA style
- Ability to understand and properly determine accuracy of scientific information and data in a variety of biological fields
- Ability to gather all needed files and information required for a manuscript submission and to execute and complete the submission
- Clearly communicates suggestions for figure and table edits/revisions with scientific team
- Outstanding organizational skills, ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and GraphPad Prism software
- Works well in a team environment
