What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Driver position at Red Rover?
Warehouse Driver
Red Rover, LLC
Red Rover is an up and coming moving and storage start up with locations in the Tampa area, New York, the Carolinas, Boston, DC, LA, Texas and many more to come. Our team has a total of over 156 years of experience in this industry. Our relaxed but performance-based culture is one of openness and inclusion. Associates in our office are encouraged to share ideas and make a difference in our organization, as we grow!
What makes Red Rover different for our customers? When you rent a container from Red Rover, we lend you a truck for free. Our trucks are equipped with driver’s aides, such as backup cameras and lane departure warning. That’s right, no delivery charges, no truck rental fees, no waiting on a company driver, just great moving and storage solutions. And if you’re moving a long distance, we do the driving to your new location at a very attractive price.
Much of our interactions with our customers is automated and a do-it-yourself model, so our techs are not doing the heavy lifting or most of the driving. Our warehouse techs will deliver containers to and from a designated self-storage lot to our warehouse locations, then utilizing a forklift place the containers in a bin location.
