Red Squirrel Arborcare is a small tree care business in North Berwick, ME. We provide high quality, professional, informed tree care for trees throughout their whole life cycle from planting through removal.
Red Squirrel Arborcare is seeking a plant enthusiast to join the team as a groundcrew member based out of North Berwick, ME.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general tree care ground tasks including raking and general cleanup, running chainsaws and other power tools, managing rigging operations on the ground, and running heavy equipment such as chippers, skidsteers and dump trucks.
- Assist with planting.
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on saws, equipment, trailers, etc.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and that the site is clean and organized.
- Keep tools and equipment clean and organized.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills:
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work outdoors all day, year round.
- Ability to learn and directions.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North Berwick, ME 03906: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
