CRUISELINE TOUR GROUP ASSISTANT

Red Stick Adventures is looking for Tour Group Assistants (we also call these Tour Escorts) to accompany and assist our cruise line guests on their in port scheduled excursions by motorcoach. You must be able to work on Sundays and you must be willing to drive to Darrow or Baton Rouge. Our schedule is somewhat flexible, but do not apply if you cannot work at least 2 or 3 SUNDAYS A MONTH.

This is a pretty fun position, but does require enthusiasm, and the ability to successfully work with people and to speak to people. It is a part-time, contract opportunity and a great position especially for side income, teachers in the summer (or weekends), actors, retirees, servers, or whoever likes people. Those with issues of attendance, maturity, and transportation issues, need not apply. Please do not apply if you are not HONESTLY interested in this position or work on SUNDAYS. Let's not waste each other's time.

Tourism and hospitality industry experience is NOT needed, though it is helpful if you have worked with the public before. Priority in response is given to candidates with equivalent experience (customer service, hospitality, service industry, teaching, public speaking, acting etc.). It also is helpful to have some basic information about the area in case guests ask you questions (we will cover this in training).
