Skilled Laborer

Redburn Property Services has immediate openings for skilled laborers on our commercial construction team!

Join a fast-growing and fast-paced team of individuals working to improve and transform aging and dilapidated properties in the Greater Capital Region into residential, commercial, and mixed-use facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Skilled laborers will perform various tasks involved with the demolition, remediation, renovation, and construction of a variety of buildings.
• Duties differ depending on the task at hand, but some responsibilities include painting, drilling and flooring installations. Their duties may also include different types of manual labor.
• Specialization in one of the areas of Carpentry, Roofing, or Masonry are required, but experience in other areas will be taken into consideration.
• All candidates must have their own reliable source of transportation. We operate on a multitude of job sites and may relocate you to another site daily. All sites located within 20 minutes of each other.
• Most tools will be provided on site, but candidates should expect to carry their own personal hand tools, work belt, cordless impact driver, and cordless drill at all times.
• A focus on safety is expected of everyone. The goal is always to operate as efficiently as possible while conducting ourselves in the safest methods. Hard hats, safety glasses, and construction rated footwear required at all times on site. Steel toe boots recommended.

Wage Rate

• Wages for this position range from $26.00 to $34.00 depending on experience and specialty.
• Overtime wages paid after 40 hours per work week.
• Sick days in compliance with NYS Labor Laws

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am to 3:30pm

Education

• High School or equivalent (Required)
• Trade school or Associates Degree (Preferred)

Language

• English (Required)

License/Certification

• Driver’s License (Required)
• OSHA 10 (Preferred)

2 Year Experience Minimum
