We are looking for a Team Player who can share the vision of Reddy & Neumann by supporting the team’s efforts to provide prompt, professional, positive, and practical immigration law advice to business clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary focus will be to prepare employment based immigration applications (Perm)
Gather documents, correspond with business clients, update database, assist with drafting of forms, letters, invoices, etc.
Organize and create complete file for attorney review
Assist attorney with additional correspondence, contacting government agencies, updating client information, etc.
Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate team member
Schedule appointments for attorney, maintain & update calendars, remind attorney of the appointments
Complete copy, scanning, unloading, and mailing of visa petitions to proper location
Support all members of legal team
Continue to grow as a professional through continued interaction with other team members
Operate at all times with the utmost integrity and loyalty to the team
Go above and beyond the norm to serve clients and team members
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Type:
Office Environment
Full Time: 40 hour work week
Monday through Friday, 9a-5:30pm

Minimum Requirements
Legal Assistant certification or High School diploma (Bachelor’s degree Preferred)
Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary (Preferred)
Knowledge of general office procedures and practices
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system (Preferred)
Able to work in a time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines
Skilled in operating computer equipment and general office machines such as personal computers and copiers
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective and courteous relationships with other employees and other business contacts
Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
Self-starter and motivator
Be available for paid overtime as business need
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
