Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join the Reddy Raw team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within our facilities. This includes electrical, mechanical, and HVAC with an emphasis on freezer and cooler maintenance, and coordinating work with third party contractors hired to make additional repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Perform routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needed - Daily inspections of freezer and coolers with an emphasis on identifying racks in need of repair, locating any ice buildup and any door malfunctions.

- Troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems to determine root causes
- Follow schematics, blueprints, and manuals to perform repairs and installations
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Assist in the development of preventive maintenance schedules

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus
- Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues with equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Skills:
- Field service experience preferred
- Ability to weld and perform basic metal fabrication tasks a big plus
- Familiarity with industrial mechanics and machinery maintenance

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
