Costing Manager

Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

• Supporting continuous improvement through cost engineering techniques and processes and identifying inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities.
• Scheduling and attending meetings with potential vendors.
• Analyzing and identifying key areas of improvement and apply cost estimation techniques to drive cost reductions and aid operational processes and efficiency.
• Monitoring and reviewing data and information to detect and assess problems and make recommendations to resolve issues.
• Reviewing, analyzing, and understanding economic trends, considering risks and cost implications.
• Utilizing costing methodologies, tools, and appropriate software models and packages to prepare and maintain reliable and accurate data.
• Ensuring professional and consistent cost engineering management processes are applied across the company.
• Providing strategic and operational information and reports to share with others as required.
• Ensuring post-contract, cost variances, change control processes, cost auditing, and cost valuations are managed effectively.
• Taking any responsible action necessary to carry out the positions responsibilities, so long as it is consistent with established company policy and sound business judgement.
• Ability to manage for metrics aligned to vision, mission, safety, and quality.
• Ensuring that the assets of Redi Services, LLC are adequately protected and are in compliance with all government laws and regulations.
• Maintaining high morale and provide safe working conditions for all employees.
  
  

Educational Requirements

• Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Professional Certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Mangement Accountant), and CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) are a plus.
  
  

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting in an Industrial Service Company, preferably with construction experience.
• Experience in fiscal budgeting, job costing, required reporting, and multi-company transactions in nationwide operations.
• Must be fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and QuickBooks, with at least 5 years of experience Job Costing.
  
  

Salary: $75,000-$90,000 DOE.
