This position is based in Memphis, TN.

Position Overview
This role will blend strategy and creativity to produce content that drives bottom-line results to B2B clients across industries. The copywriter will translate complex industry insights and value propositions into clear, eye-catching and easy-to-understand content assets.
The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience writing for B2B companies on web, email, print, search, paid social, organic social and other mediums.
Successful candidates can demonstrate a strong understanding of grammatical and AP Style rules and provide a portfolio of past copywriting projects. This role requires an organized, methodical approach to day-to-day work.

Daily Activities Include:

• Writing webpages, emails, newsletters, blogs, case studies, ads and social posts
• Participating in creative brainstorms with other members of the production team
• Editing and proofreading outgoing material to ensure it adheres to brand standards
• Editing and proofreading outoging material to ensure it adheres to brand standards
• Effectively managing competing priorities to meet quick deadlines
• Editing and revising material according to internal and client feedback

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 5 years of experience writing clear, concise and compelling copy
• Proven track record of achieving lead generation goals through content strategies
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, creative writing, communications or related field
• Experience writing short-form and long-form copy for web, email, print, search, paid social, organic social and other mediums
• Strong proofreading and editing skills, with particular attention to grammar and AP Style
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional creative teams
• Proficient in successfully translating creative briefs into persuasive content assets
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to explain content strategy to coworkers and clients
• Proficiency writing in different brand voices, tones and personalities
• Strong understanding of SEO and how to optimize online content for search algorithms
