Job Summary: To provide optimum service for clients in alarm monitoring, dispatching, and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multitask, basic computer and Microsoft Windows skills. This position must be willing to work a flexible schedule - weekends, holidays, evenings.
Worker Category: Full Time and Part Time > 25 hours/week or < 25 hours/week
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for responding to alarms in the prescribed manner.
- Maintain accurate accounts of events for alarm activation, dispatch, and other general activity.
- Troubleshoot system problems with clients to restore operation to the client's satisfaction.
- Dispatch service technicians for after-hours repair of systems.
- Attend operators meetings and any scheduled training events.
- Work closely with technicians and installers during service calls and new account setups.
- Run and process client reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Assist in general clerical work and other miscellaneous duties.
- Various projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Shifts available: (4:00 pm - 12:00 am & 12:00 am to 8:00 am)
- Must be available four hours prior to start of shift for on-call duties
Reporting Relationships: This position reports directly to the Central Station Manager and shift supervisor(s). No positions report to this position. All non-management personnel are peers. Management reserves the right to make changes to this job description as deemed necessary.
